Convenient Telehealth Veterinary Care

Our telehealth pilot program allows you to connect with Dr. Pfannenstiel through a video call without bringing your pet into the clinic. Telehealth appointments in Arlington, MA can help you discuss your pet’s current condition, ask follow-up questions, and determine what type of care may be appropriate.

Telehealth may be suitable for situations such as:

  • Follow-up conversations after a recent veterinary visit
  • Questions about an ongoing treatment plan
  • Minor concerns that may not require a physical examination
  • Discussing changes in your pet’s condition
  • Guidance about whether an in-person appointment is needed

 

Each telehealth visit lasts approximately 20 minutes and takes place by video call. If your pet’s condition requires a physical examination, diagnostic testing, or hands-on treatment, our team will help determine the appropriate next step.

Telehealth Appointments for New Clients

New clients may also book a teletriage call to discuss their pet’s symptoms and receive guidance about what to do next. Because we have not examined your pet in person, a telehealth conversation may not provide enough information to make a diagnosis or treatment recommendation.

After discussing your pet’s symptoms, we may recommend an in-office appointment so the veterinary team can perform a complete physical examination and determine the appropriate care.

Telehealth Appointment Schedule

Telehealth appointments are currently available every other Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pilot program includes the following dates:

  • September 5
  • September 19
  • October 3
  • October 17
